Privacy Policy

AgroHektar (developed by Primož Černelič) respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what data the AgroHektar mobile application stores on your device, how optional Google Drive backups work, and how you can manage or delete your data at any time.

1. Data Stored Locally on Your Device (No Developer Server)

AgroHektar is built on a strict "Local-First" architecture. All agricultural and operational records you create or measure in the app are stored locally on your mobile phone or tablet:

• Parcels (Parcele): agricultural land parcels, GERK parcel identifiers, polygon boundaries, surface areas (hectares), farm identification number (KMG-MID), crops, and crop rotation history.
• Work Tasks & Activity Logs (Opravila): recorded farm operations and agricultural contracting services, timestamps, working hours, worked hectares, bale or load counts, applied materials (seeds, fertilizers, plant protection products), client contact details, and generated PDF invoices or quotes.
• GPS Routes (GPS poti): GPS coordinates, driven field paths, worked swath coverage, and A–B guidance lines recorded while you actively track a task in the field.
• Photos (Fotografije): photos you optionally attach to work entries or expense receipts (including on-device OCR scanning of expense receipts).
• Expenses & Machinery (Stroški): farm expenses (fuel, maintenance, materials), tractors, implements, machine operating hours, and farm/company settings.

No external server: The developer of AgroHektar does not operate any backend server or cloud database that collects, receives, or stores your farm or business data. Your data remains on your device unless you explicitly choose to export it or back it up to your own personal Google Drive account.

2. Google Drive Backup & Google User Data (OAuth Scope drive.file)

AgroHektar offers an optional cloud backup and team sync feature using your personal Google Drive account (accessible during onboarding or in Settings / Nastavitve → Varnostna kopija and Nastavitve → Ekipa). Using Google Sign-In and Google Drive backup is completely optional—the app functions offline and locally without a Google account.

• Google Sign-In identity data: When you sign in with Google, the app accesses basic profile information (your name, email address, and Google user ID) solely to display which account is currently connected inside the app and to authenticate direct API requests between your device and Google Drive.
• Narrow Google Drive scope (drive.file): AgroHektar requests only the narrow, non-broad OAuth scope https://www.googleapis.com/auth/drive.file. This grants AgroHektar access only to the specific backup files and folders created by AgroHektar itself in your Google Drive (such as AgroHektar-backup-*.json or the AgroHektar-Ekipa-* folder).
• No access to your other Drive files: AgroHektar cannot view, read, list, modify, or delete any other personal files, documents, or photos stored in your Google Drive.
• Direct device-to-Drive transfer: Backup files (containing your parcels, tasks, GPS routes, photos, expenses, and settings in JSON format) are transmitted directly between your mobile device and Google Drive over encrypted HTTPS. The developer never receives a copy of your backups and has no access to your Google Drive.
• Google API Services User Data Policy (Limited Use Disclosure): AgroHektar's use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

3. Location Data (GPS) & Public Data Sources

• GPS Location: AgroHektar accesses your device's GPS location only when you manually start tracking a field task or view the map and local weather. When task tracking is stopped, GPS recording stops immediately. Recorded GPS routes are stored locally on your device.
• Map & Weather Providers: To display maps, public GERK parcel boundaries, and agricultural weather forecasts, the app makes direct requests to public services (Apple Maps / Google Maps, ARSO, MET Norway, EUMETNET/OPERA / LibreWXR, and Slovenian Ministry of Agriculture MKGP RKG / Sopotnik). None of your personal or financial records are sent to these services.

4. No Third-Party Data Sharing

• We do not sell, rent, trade, or share your personal data or Google user data with any third parties.
• The app contains no third-party advertising SDKs, behavioral trackers, or cross-app tracking cookies.
• Your data and Google Drive backup contents are never used for advertising, user profiling, or training artificial intelligence / machine learning models.

5. Data Retention & How You Can Delete Your Data

Because all data is stored locally on your device and optionally in your own Google Drive, you have full, immediate control over your data and can delete it at any time:

• Deleting local data on your phone: You can delete individual parcels, tasks, GPS routes, photos, clients, invoices, or expenses directly within the AgroHektar app at any time. To permanently delete all local data at once, simply clear the app's storage in your phone's system settings or uninstall AgroHektar from your device.
• Disconnecting & deleting Google Drive backups:
  1. In the AgroHektar app, open Nastavitve (Settings) → Varnostna kopija (Backup) and toggle off "Samodejni backup v Google Drive" (or sign out under Nastavitve → Ekipa).
  2. Open your personal Google Drive and delete the AgroHektar-backup-*.json files or AgroHektar-Ekipa-* folder (and empty your Drive Trash).
  3. You can also revoke AgroHektar's OAuth access to your Google account at any time from your Google Account Permissions page at myaccount.google.com/permissions.

6. Subscriptions & Free Trial

AgroHektar Pro subscriptions are processed exclusively by Apple (App Store) or Google (Google Play). AgroHektar does not receive or store your credit card or payment details. For the 30-day no-card free trial, the app stores only the initial launch date on the device, which is not linked to your identity.
